Ultra Music Festival is one of the biggest dance music events in the world. It was originally produced n 1999 by business partners Ray Navarro, Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes. The festival grew to its incredible popular appeal throughout the years and celebrated its 10th anniversary during March 28–29, 2008.
After the move to Virginia Key in 2019 and cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, Ultra Music Festival returned to the Bayfront Park location for the 2022 edition on March 25, 26 and 27, 2022.
Hardwell performed as the closing act of the 2022 event, after being announced as an “exclusive” guest. His long-awaited return to Ultra Music Festival was a dance music comeback for the books. After being on a four-year hiatus, this 2022 Ultra performance was in front of an estimated 150,000 attendees and broke the record for the festival’s live streaming viewership.

Now, back to the main event:
Ultra Beach Costa del Sol is the new Waterfront Music Festival. It will officially debut this summer at Marenostrum Fuengirola, a scenic waterfront venue in Málaga, Spain. The first announced artists are Adam Beyer, Afrojack, KSHMR and Oliver Heldens.
The festival was due to be inaugurated back in 2020, but like many events around the world, the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, the plans are back in action and Ultra are preparing for liftoff after revealing the first phase of the lineup for the single-day festival. Of course, this is just the beginning. More artists will be announced in further phases closer to the date of Ultra Beach Costa del Sol, also being called Ultra Beach.
